So there's this link called rev.com, and what this site do is they'll pay you to do some transcriptions for a decent amount of money.
The way things work in here is they will pay you some amount of dollars per audio minute transcripted. Therefore, if you are working for a 30 minutes long audio file you might get paid $15 for it. Sounds decent right?
Let say that it takes you 1 hour to transcript that 30 minutes audio file, then you are earning $15/h. But if it takes you longer, then you simply need to be faster Tongue .
However, there will be some application process before you can actually work with rev.com. You will first need to register and answer basic information details and bla-bla-bla.
After registration, the site will conduct a test whether you are qualified or not to work with them. They will probably ask you to write ~400 words passage about spesific topic. After that, you will have to do a sample transcription job. This involve listening to an audio file using the software that they provided and writing down what the words. In my opinion, the software is easy to use and if you ended up having trouble, then transcription might just not be your things.
Once you are accepted, things are relatively easy and straight forward. You can start earning a quite decent amount of money by typing audio file into words.
Also, there are other other job opportunities in the site, such as doing subtitles or translation. Though i personally wouldn't recommend anyone doing it (since they are much harder), but if they suits you better then go for it.
Thats it from me for now...
...Oh and please be aware that the site might be receiving an influx of freelancers now due to the global covid-19 epidemic and the stay at home situation. But it is still possible to get a job now so don't worry to much about that.
